Tim and the Hidden People. There is something strange about these books. Written in the seventies and reprinted again in 2004, they are very difficult to acquire. Perhaps it is the European flavor of the titles- I’ve been unable to find plot synopsis for any of the individual texts- but there is something vague and mysterious about them. Even the reprints are difficult to access without large sums. Recent complete collections of these children’s books aimed at 4 -7 year olds have sold for as much as 3000 pounds on Ebay. Nothing out of the ordinary here until you look at this:
Of course then you’d have to be able to read a copy of a story I wrote called “The Disappeared” to really get where I’m coming from. It needs a rewrite and I’m thinking a little inside joke about Sheila K. McCullagh’s work might be in order on the revisions.
